01About PetNuzz
PetNuzz is a mobile experience for creating and interacting with AI cat and dog companions. You can create a digital version of a real pet or an original AI pet, care for it, and discover public pets.
These terms govern your use of the PetNuzz website and App, operated by PetNuzz, United States (“PetNuzz,” “we,” or “us”). The App is offered for iOS in English; Android is planned. Feature and regional availability depend on the released version and App Store listing.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must give you permission and review these terms with you. An App Store content rating does not override these requirements.
02Your account
You need an account to use the App and enter Pet Rooms. Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google create separate PetNuzz accounts; they are not automatically linked or merged, and assets are not shared between them.
Use the same sign-in provider to return to the same account. Keep access to that provider secure, and contact [email protected] if you need help with your account.
Your display name and avatar are private. V1 does not provide public owner profiles, direct messages, comments, or a user-following system.
03Creating a companion
A real-pet creation uses pet details, 4–10 uploaded photos, and three personality traits you choose. Original-pet creation does not require photos and uses two traits you choose. The remaining traits and the original pet’s appearance are generated by the service.
The first pet on an account that successfully becomes ready is free. Failed attempts do not use that eligibility. Deleting a successfully created pet does not restore it.
Generation is asynchronous and may take several minutes. Only one creation can be in progress per account. A pet cannot be canceled or deleted while it is being created. If creation fails, you can review the reason, edit the information, and retry.
For an attempt paid for with Diamonds, a failed attempt triggers a Diamond refund; retrying is a new charged attempt. Ready pets have a fixed identity and personality. V1 does not offer a regenerate button for a ready pet.
AI-generated appearances and reactions may differ from your real pet. PetNuzz is a digital companion experience and does not guarantee an exact likeness or reproduction of a real animal’s behavior.
04Petting, care & discovery
Core petting remains free. Food supports satiety, and toys raise mood. Pet reactions are shaped by personality, current state, and the relationship with the person interacting.
Owners can choose Public or Private. Public pets allow visits, petting, feeding, toy use, and favorites; Private pets are available only to their owner. A change to Private removes visitor access.
The App centers on pets, with no human-language pet chat, microphone voice input, free-roaming 3D behavior, or room-decorating features in V1. Sound, push notifications, and in-app purchases remain deferred in the current development phase.
05Photos, content & conduct
Upload only photos and other material you have the right to use. Do not submit illegal, misleading, or infringing content, or use pet names or images to target or abuse others.
PetNuzz needs to process your submitted materials to generate, store, and display your companion. Choosing Public permits the public pet experience described above; it does not publish your original photos or private account profile.
You can report a public pet from its room. A report does not automatically remove the pet. Following review, PetNuzz may make it Private and restrict its owner from making it Public until that restriction is lifted.
You retain the rights you already have in your uploaded content. You grant PetNuzz a non-exclusive permission to host, reproduce, process, and adapt that content only as needed to provide, protect, and support the service you request. For a Public pet, this includes displaying its generated assets and details to other users. It does not permit publishing your original pet photos. This permission ends when the relevant content is removed, subject to the deletion processing described in our Privacy Policy.
PetNuzz and its licensors retain rights in the App, branding, software, and service materials. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable permission to use the service under these terms. AI outputs may not be unique and may not qualify for copyright protection; we do not promise exclusive rights in them. Do not bypass access controls, disrupt the service, scrape private information, or misuse another person’s account.
06Diamonds & virtual items
Diamonds are the planned virtual currency for additional pet creation, food, and toys. In V1, Diamond purchases are intended to use Apple’s in-app purchase system. Purchases are not available on this website. The App will display purchase options only when enabled.
Applicable prices and quantities will be displayed before a purchase is confirmed. Buying Diamonds does not automatically complete a pending pet creation or item purchase; that action requires another confirmation.
Diamonds and items cannot be transferred or traded between users. Deleting a pet does not automatically reverse past Diamond, food, or toy use. Account deletion makes its remaining virtual assets unavailable after the recovery period.
The failed-generation Diamond refund described above is separate from a monetary App Store refund. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
When App Store purchases become available, Apple’s payment terms also apply. Request monetary refunds through Apple’s refund process, or contact us for assistance with a service issue. Diamonds and virtual items have no cash value outside the service. No subscription or recurring billing is created by visiting this website.
07Privacy & leaving PetNuzz
The Privacy Policy explains the handling of account, pet, and interaction information.
You may permanently delete a ready or failed pet. A pet still being created must leave that state first. Delete all pets before requesting account deletion through Me → Account → Delete Account.
Account deletion has a 15-day recovery window. Signing in with the same provider during this window cancels deletion. Pets you already deleted remain deleted. Data cleanup follows a 30-day period from the relevant deletion request.
After permanent account deletion, signing up again creates a new account. Previous pets, purchases, and relationships are not transferred to it, and old orders cannot be used to credit the new account again.
08Availability & final provisions
Screens shown on this website illustrate the App design; the released interface and features may differ. Download availability is determined by the App Store. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, security, or legal reasons, with notice when reasonably possible and as required by law.
PetNuzz is for companionship and entertainment. It is not veterinary, medical, or emergency advice, and does not replace caring for a real animal. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer guarantees. You remain responsible for your use of the service and the content you submit.
Applicable United States law governs these terms to the extent permitted by law, without removing mandatory protections or access to courts available in your place of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not require binding arbitration or waive class-action rights.
Apple is not responsible for operating PetNuzz or providing its support. Your use of Apple and Google services is also subject to their applicable terms. If a provision here cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
